This Privacy Policy explains how Gridiron Yardage ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App on your device. Gridiron Yardage is a single-player groundskeeping season game. It was built to work entirely on your device, without accounts, servers or third-party services.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage statistics or any other information about you or your device. The App contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) and no code that reports back to us or to anyone else.
Some screens in the App can optionally use a photograph: reading the week's weather from a picture of the sky, scouting a seed cultivar from a picture of a lawn, placing a picture on the stadium board, and taking a portrait for the keeper's badge. On each of these screens you may choose either the camera or your photo library, or skip the feature entirely.
The App keeps a single save file describing your season and career, and up to two image files (the stadium board picture and the badge portrait) if you chose to add them. These files are stored in the App's own private storage area on your device. They are not synced, uploaded or shared.
You can erase this data at any time by using the reset option in the App's Settings screen, or by deleting the App, which removes all of its files.
The App contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising of any kind.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your region). Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to receive, store or delete.
We do not share information with third parties, because we do not hold any. The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, social or tracking components.
Because all data remains on your device, its security depends on the security of the device itself. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a passcode.
Under privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data held by us to exercise these rights against. All of your App data is under your direct control on your device, as described in section 4.
If the App's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy and change the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
If you have questions about this policy or about the App, please use our support page.
